To conclude a very active year, Square and Circle Club made three worthwhile donations to the following nonprofit organizations:
On Lok
Square and Circle Club donated $1,500 to support On Lok’s programs that served the elderly. They held their “Celebrates” Gala at Pier 27 in San Francisco on May 2024.
Francisco Middle School Relief Fund
This fund, managed by the Francisco Middle School faculty and staff, provides life essentials to Francisco students who live at the poverty level. Square and Circle donated $500 to this fund.
Chinatown YMCA – Reach and Rise Mentoring Program
The Chinese YMCA sponsored Reach and Rise, a one-on-one therapeutic mentoring program to help at-risk youth. Square and Circle donated $450 to provide meals at their monthly meetings.
