Announcing a S&C Centennial Scholarship

Square and Circle Club announces a scholarship specifically designated for its Centennial celebration: the Square and Circle Centennial/Rosemary Chan Scholarship. Rosemary Chan joined S&C in 1941 and held her first office as Corresponding Secretary in 1945. She continued to hold every S&C officer position, some twice of thrice. She was the Club’s president six times. The Centennial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating June 2024 San Francisco high school senior admitted to a college or university in 2024-25. It will fittingly be administered by TACT (The Association of Chinese Teachers) as Rosemary was one of six TACT co-founders. UPDATE: Daphne Wan received the Centennial Scholarship in May 2024. See “2024 Square and Circle Club Scholarship Recipients” for more information.
