On October 2023, Square and Circle Club donated $500 to the Chinese Congregational Church to commemorate their 150th Anniversary, and in loving memory of S&C’s late elder, Elaine Jang. The Church is considered the “birthplace” of Square and Circle. It was on their balcony in 1924 where S&C’s seven founders met and decided to form the organization after hearing about the famine and floods in China. Since then, there has been a steady and warm relationship between Club and Church.
