On Lok
To celebrate On Lok’s annual “Celebrates Gala 2023” on May 19, Square and Circle Club presented them with a donation in support of their tireless service and mission “to help all seniors stay healthy, active, and connected to their community.”
Half Moon Bay
Square and Circle Club responded to the call to support victims of the January 23 mass shooting in Half Moon Bay, most of whom were Chinese immigrants living in the Bay Area. Club donations were made to the Half Moon Bay Victims Fund to provide direct financial support to the impacted families and the Half Moon Bay Support Fund to help provide in-language Chinese support for the survivors and families.
Chinatown Community Development Center
The mission of the Chinatown Community Development Center is “to build community and enhance the quality of life for San Francisco residents,” primarily in Chinatown and extending to North Beach and the Tenderloin. In continuous support of their mission and service, Square and Circle Club gave them a donation for their 45th Gala in October 2022.
