S&C Shared Angel Island Family Histories with the Community

Angel Island Family History Project

After four years of research, Square and Circle Club’s Angel Island Family History Project was completed on September 3, 2021, with the publication of four family histories. They were written by members whose ancestors underwent the Angel Island Immigration Station experience: Lorraine Dong, Claudia Jeung, Katie Quan, and Emily Salcido. The goal of this community service was to contribute to the history of the Chinese in the United States. All Angel Island family histories are available on the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation’s “Immigrant Voices” website.
